This one-day interactive workshop will map the organization's KM Road Ahead. The course is designed for a group of individuals responsible for managing, facilitating, or participating in the development of a knowledge management plan for their organization or business unit and who have completed MHC-411 Strategic Planning in the Knowledge Age.

  • A review of the organization's Strategic Plan developed in MHC-411.
  • A review of the organization's status on their 12 point checklist and a review of the timeline of the Learning Enterprise Maturity Model.
  • An overview of the six parts of a communication plan, the four fatal assumptions of communication, and the three different channels of communication. A discussion of the five different levels of communication and how the agenda changes at each level, emphasizing why it is important to understanding the language of your audience to ensure optimum communication.
  • Development of a KM communication plan.
  • Discussion of the importance of change management and risk management.
  • A 12 Point Checklist to help enable your process and to track your progress.
  • Timeline of the Learning Enterprise Maturity Model.
